Rubber or similar keyboard dampening rings can be worth it for some users, as they can help reduce the noise and vibration produced by typing on a mechanical keyboard. This can be especially beneficial in shared workspaces or environments where noise levels need to be kept to a minimum. Additionally, dampening rings can provide a softer and more cushioned typing experience, which may be preferred by some users. However, the effectiveness of dampening rings can vary depending on the keyboard and individual preferences, so it's important to consider these factors before deciding if they are worth it for you. **

Keyboard dampening rings made of rubber or similar materials can be worth it for some users. They can help reduce the noise produced by key presses, making typing quieter and more pleasant, which can be beneficial in shared workspaces or quiet environments. Additionally, dampening rings can also provide a softer feel to the keys, which some users may find more comfortable for extended typing sessions. However, the effectiveness of dampening rings can vary depending on the keyboard and individual preferences, so it's important to consider these factors before deciding if they are worth it for you. **

Proxmox updates can be performed without a subscription by using the Proxmox No-Subscription Repository (pve-no-subscription). This repository provides updates and security patches for Proxmox VE without the need for a subscription. To use this repository, you can edit the /etc/apt/sources.list file and add the following line: deb http://download.proxmox.com/debian/pve stretch pve-no-subscription. After adding the repository, you can update Proxmox VE using the apt-get update and apt-get dist-upgrade commands. Keep in mind that while using the pve-no-subscription repository allows you to receive updates, it does not provide access to the enterprise features and support available with a subscription. **

Yes, schools typically have the ability to access students' email communication through the school email system. This is because the email accounts provided by the school are usually owned and managed by the school itself, giving them the authority to monitor and review the content of emails sent and received by students. It is important for students to be aware of this and use school email accounts responsibly. **

I would be willing to pay up to $200 for a mechanical keyboard completely made of aluminum, with hotswap function, and with silicone dampening in the case. The use of aluminum as the material for the keyboard adds durability and a premium feel, while the hotswap function allows for easy customization of switches. The silicone dampening in the case would also provide a quieter typing experience, making it a desirable feature. Overall, these features combined would justify a higher price point for a high-quality mechanical keyboard. **

Open Office is primarily a suite of office productivity tools, such as word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations. While it does not have a dedicated email client like Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird, it can still be used for email communication. Users can draft emails using the word processing tool and send them through a web-based email service or another email client. However, for more advanced email functionalities like managing multiple email accounts or integrating calendars, a dedicated email client would be more suitable. **
